I am living proof that through hard work, passion, and commitment the payoff is amazing. That is, it is amazing if you aren’t expecting a payoff.
This is my third post regarding my journey on Medium. I can say wirh confidence that Medium is fast becoming my favorite platform to write on. It is fun, engaging and the feedback I get is tangible evidence people like what I am doing, for the most part.
As of 2 days ago I had amassed a grand total of $0.04 to start the build on my Empire. I am proud to say now that I have gained an even larger step. Staggering it is a 500% increase.
For a collective 10–12 hours of work I am making less than a sweatshop rookie. I am good with that. I didn’t expect to make cold hard cash like this at all so this is just a small, fun, make me smile kind of bonus.
I do have an article that hasn’t even had a read and that was an experimental trip into the dark side of video game reviewing. It was fun though. It was a passion project for a game I loved when I was younger. It took us down memory lane and scratched the retro itch.
